Installation & Ventilation

Air cooled refrigerated dryers discharge condenser heat into the surrounding environment, so adequate ventilation is important.

Install the dryer indoors on a level concrete floor, keep the condenser air inlet and outlet unobstructed, and prevent hot discharge air from recirculating into the cooling-air inlet.

For the AH Series, a minimum clearance of approximately 1.5 m around the unit is recommended for ventilation and maintenance access.

For installations with limited ventilation, a water-cooled refrigerated air dryer may be more suitable.
